The patented LarsLap® system uses individually driven grinding heads arranged radially around a central driving head. Low driving speed converts to high speed with low torque on the heads — preventing damage to the valve seat.
The movement of the individually controlled heads produces a perfectly flat surface with a microscopic crosshatch pattern that prevents leakage from capillary action. Unlike single-plate or friction-driven machines, controlled heads deliver excellent, repeatable results with minimal risk to the seat.
